JavaScript, JavaScript, JavaScript. It is one of the most used languages in Codeanywhere and because of that, even the New Devboxes we released last week ( see here ), were not enough. So we decided to launch even more Predefined Development Environments but this time for the most popular JavaScript Frameworks and Platforms.

So here is our third batch of predefined development environments to join Codeanywhere’s DevBox Library; AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, & Meteor & io.js.

AngularJS ( https://angularjs.org/ ) is an open-source web application framework maintained by Google and a community of individual developers and corporations to address many of the challenges encountered in developing single-page applications.

Backbone.js ( http://backbonejs.org/ ) is a lightweight JavaScript library and was designed for developing single-page web applications and for keeping various parts of web applications synchronized.

Ember.js ( http://emberjs.com ) is an open-source client-side JavaScript web application framework and was built for productivity, designed with developer ergonomics in mind.

Meteor ( http://meteor.com ) is an open-source real-time JavaScript web application framework written on top of Node.js. Meteor allows for very rapid prototyping and produces cross-platform code.

io.js ( https://iojs.org/ ) io.js is a JavaScript platform built on Chrome's V8 runtime. This project began as a fork of Joyent's Node.js™ and is compatible with the npm ecosystem.
